Four Programs to Meet Unique Needs
-
Occupational Course of Study
Perry Academy’s Occupational Course of Study program provides students with disabilities a vocationally-focused, hands-on learning & real-world job skills, all while adhering to relevant academic standards to prepare them for employment and independent living.
-
Upper Elementary
In Perry Academy Microschool's Upper Elementary program, students cultivate a love for learning and explore the world around them. This program delivers a tailored and stimulating educational journey for children whose academic abilities are similar with those of typical 3rd to 5th graders.
-
Lower Elementary
Our Lower Elementary program teaches foundational academic skills alongside practical life skills. It is designed for students demonstrating aptitudes comparable to their neurotypical children in grades K-2. Students flourish in the program's low-sensory, small-group environment.
-
Pre-Academic
In the secure and inviting home-like atmosphere of Perry Academy, Pre-Academic students flourish. We provide focused, small-group instruction that nurtures the development of essential life and independence skills, ideally suited for children exhibiting social skills typical of ages 3-4.
Individual Attention in a Small Group Environment
Perry Academy provides a wide variety of homeschool-tutoring options. We deliver a transformative and personalized educational experience. Our small group tutoring sessions utilize customized curriculum, and are led by a teacher with a Master's Degree in Special Education & over 20 years of experience. We offer a tailored educational approach, dividing students into four learning groups, of just 5 to 7 learners each, to ensure instruction is specifically designed to meet each child's unique gifts and individual needs. Class Schedule
Our 12-month academic calendar is thoughtfully designed to provide students with year-round consistency in their learning. We also understand the importance of family time, which is why we offer ample opportunities for rest and rejuvenation, including six scheduled week-long breaks and nine personal days per student each year (three per trimester).
For added flexibility, our school operates with morning sessions from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and afternoon sessions from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM, Tuesday through Friday. This structured yet adaptable schedule empowers families to choose the best fit for their child's needs and their lifestyle.
